A compact, battery-powered platform for environmental data collection. Custom PCBs integrate temperature, humidity, and light sensors and transmit readings wirelessly via an ESP32 module.
PCBs were designed from scratch in KiCad, incorporating a buck converter for efficient battery regulation and SMT footprints for the SHT40 and VEML7700 sensors. Joulescope power profiling guided deep-sleep tuning to maximize battery life between data uplinks.
